The day I finally opened up a Facebook account was the day Mark Zuckerberg was named Time Magazine Person of the Year.  Now on to Twitter....

Red Cottage Room (upstairs)

Sharon and I headed down to Hilton Head Island for some house calls.  We were treated to dinner by Dr. Mac at of the island's seafood restaurants The Black Marlin Bayside Brill (http://www.blackmarlinhhi.com).  We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel before heading out the next morning for Savannah.  There we toured about had two patient encounters and then made for our B&B at the Savannah B&B Inn.  Because I mentioned I was a former Savannah innkeeper Pam at the desk gave us an upgrade to the Red Room Cottage.  I was very pleasant. 

 
We walked down town to a new Italian restaurant (taking the place of Il Pasticcio) named Zitto Zitto.... it must be the best kept secret restaurant for locals.  No exterior signs and most that walk up to the place will wind up eating downstairs the Broughton & Bull (a southern cuisine restaurant).  Needless to say, we had a fantastic dinner with wine/mixed drinks and dessert for under $80.  A real deal these days.  Sitting was by the open kitchen and our waiter was the best.

The following day, since my sciatica flared up we went to see my buddy Dr. Michael Ard-Kelley, LAc who stuck a few needles in me, gave me a Chinese therapeutic massage and some herbals.  The ride back home was much more bearable with little to no pain.

Dean Winters, Actor and Allstate's Mayhem Character.

His latest gig is the edgy, slightly off balance 'mayhem' in which he plays a random windstorm who drops suddenly complete with branch on a new car, a ticked-off executive who gets his jollies suing young drivers and a teenage girl who gets a text message from her BFF and is "all OMG" about her kissing the guy she likes. The commercials are two parts humor and two parts scare tactic, an odd combination that seems to work.

A Brief Biography

American-born actor, Dean Winters was born July 20^th, 1964. He got into acting when his younger brother Scott (also an actor) suggested he "do something with his life". One of his first appearances was in the TV show, "Homicide: Life On The Street". He is best known for his role Ryan O'Reily in the hit show, "Oz" which ran from 1997-2003. From 2004-2009, fans got to know him as cop Johnny Gavin, younger brother to lead Denis Leary's character Tommy on "Rescue Me". Recently he's played opposite Tina Fey on NBC's award-winning series "30 Rock". He also recurs as Sarah Connor's former love interest in "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles".
