Fayetteville, NC

I had an interview with the folks at the VA Hospital on Fr. Bragg.  May be working with some Army Heroes and taking care of their health needs.

While in Fayetteville we took a look around and spent a bit of time on the base visited the US Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Museum.  It was undergoing some renovations, so 1/2 of the exhibit space was not available.  What was did interest us.  Kudos to COL "Bull" Simons.

Statue of Colonel Bull Simons. Who did some big sh** in Nam.

We then trekked off base to the Airborne & Special Operations Museum.  Getting there about a hour before closing we missed the last viewings of the movie and the flight, parachute simulator.. ah, but there is next time.  A very well done exhibit of Airborne History from the 1940's until present day.

Michael got a picture with Uday Hussein's gold platted guns an AK-47 and a Russian sniper rifle in addition to a handgun.  They were recovered when the US Army nailed his rat ass during their invasion of Baghdad.  Here the spoils of war are on display with other artifacts as a reminder of these brutal tyrants reign of terror.  (JFK Special Ops Museum)
